Bunch of Dunces is the sixth episode of Survivor: Soles Nacientes.

Challenges

Immunity Challenge: Feed The Llamas

In this challenge, the cast had to feed hungry llamas some apples in order to win their affection and more importantly, the points assigned to each llama. Each host was a llama that were assigned a different point value. Bilger the Llama was worth 1 point, Emma the Llama was worth 2 points, Isaiah the Llama was worth 3 points, Poteet the Llama was worth 4 points, Tommy the Llama was worth 5 points, and Neb the Llama was worth 6 points.

The tribe who feeds a llama the most apples, more than the other tribes, earns that llama’s points.

Each tribe will get 5 apples in each feeding window to choose which llama to feed. They had to use every apple in each window and could not reserve an apple to use for a later round. They could choose to spread out your apples, feed one llama all your apples, or whatever they wanted, they just needed to use all 5 apples each feeding window.

There were 6 feeding windows during the 24 hour challenge period where the tribes had to feed the llamas.

Results were revealed after every feeding window so everyone know where every tribe stands. Only the tribe with the most apples fed to a lamma would receive that llamas points. The three tribe with the most amount of points would win Immunity.

Winners: Iñakuyo, Pukara, Amantani

Story

Day 13

After Ariana was eliminated, Bliss thanked both Sebastián and Zoey for keeping her on Taquile 2.0. The three remaining members of the tribe vowed to work together and fight hard in the next challenge to make sure they wouldn't go to Tribal Council again. Then, the next challenge, Feed The Llama was announced! In this challenge, tribes would have to strategically feed llamas that were assigned different point values throughout the course of the day while competing against the other tribes doing the exact same thing. During the challenge, Amantani continued to bond but were starting to grow bored of each other. They had won every challenge which didn't give them a chance to vote each other out or play the game. On Iñakuyo, Andrew remained paranoid that he would be eliminated if they went to Tribal while Jayden & Pho continued to bond and grow closer. On Pukara, after speaking with the two returnees, Jack made an alliance chat with himself, Raven, and Felipe. This meant that Jack was allied with every member of his tribe. As the alliance was formed, Felipe grew more frustrated at the Amantani 2.0 members, specifically at Dior, for picking an all-Amantani tribe as a Tribe Captain. Felipe felt that the other Amantani members - himself, Raven, Sebastián, and Zoey were at the bottom of the original tribe's pecking order, at least in Dior's eyes. On Amatani 2.0, every member marveled at how Sebastián and Zoey were able to break apart and splinter the Taquile 2.0 tribe. They assumed Bliss would be eliminated heading into Tribal.

Day 14

At the challenge, Amantani's strategy led by Aaron was to feed the llama with the most points the maximum number of apples every round and dare another tribe to challenge them. Iñakuyo's strategy was to box out other tribes on specific llamas to earn them enough points. Pukara's strategy started in disarray at first, but then they were able to focus on the second-highest llama to earn them immunity and keep them safe. The Taquile tribe kept changing their strategy which practically guaranteed their demise unless other tribes were able to help them out at the expense of another tribe. No tribe helped them out so Taquile lost for a third time in a row and went back to Tribal Council.

At the aforementioned Tribal Council, Zoey was conflicted. On one hand, she had grown super close to Bliss throughout her time on Taquile 2.0. On the other hand, she had made multiple alliances with Sebastián and was planning to work with him for as long as they could for Latinx representation. Since Bliss was planning to work with Zoey throughout the rest of the game, this made the decision very difficult for Zoey. An hour before the votes were read, Bliss claimed in the Tribal Council chat that she had an idol and was planning to play it at this Tribal Council. However, based on the season’s idol system, it was very unlikely for her to have an idol. This either was enough for Zoey to be convinced or Zoey used it as a reason to work with Bliss. Regardless, Zoey voted with Bliss to eliminate Sebastián and made him the 6th member of the Fallen. After, Sebastián chose to give his 2 Incan Sun Coins to Zoey, thinking she’d need it after betraying him. He also chose Amanda & Pho as the 2 castaways he’d like to see work together.
