Challenges
Immunity Challenge: Cacha Cacho is a traditional Bolivian game that's played with dice.
Contestants had 3 turns total to build up to the highest score possible. Each person would roll all 5 dice on the first turn and then could choose how many dice they wanted to re-roll and how many dice & which dice they wanted to keep.
The goal was to get the highest score possible on one round. Each number on the dice counts for how many points someone would receive, so 6 is the highest number of points on each die. However, there are ways to increase your score, and here's the order:
- 3 of a Kind - 4 of a Kind - Full House (3 of one kind of a number and a pair of another number) - Small Straight (4 numbers in a row): a.) 1,2,3,4 b.) 2,3,4,5 c.) 3,4,5,6 - Large Straight (5 numbers in a row): a.) 1,2,3,4,5 b.) 2,3,4,5,6 - Cacho (5 of a kind) If these scoring systems feel familiar, it's identical to Yahtzee!
The goal was to get the highest score with 3 dice rolls. The highest score wins immunity.
Winners: Zoey
Story
Day 33
After Arlie was eliminated, Maple felt like he was at the bottom once he lost his closest ally. With the idol in tow, Grady felt more confident about his chances of making it to the end. Zoey felt some satisfaction eliminating Arlie to get revenge for Felipe & Aaron, whom Maple & Arlie betrayed at the Double Tribal Council. Amanda was happy getting Arlie out but was now focused on targeting Bliss as she felt that Bliss had a good hold of the game.
As the players were mulling over their next potential move, the new challenge Cacho was announced! Cacho is a Bolivian game with dice similar to Yahtzee. Some players like Bliss & Grady had played Yahtzee before but others like Zoey had never played and worked to learn the strategy. After some practice rounds, the Killa tribe was ready to play. Grady and Zoey were neck and neck trying to go for the highest score. Zoey rolled enough to earn a Small Straight to beat Jack's 4 of a kind, and Grady got unlucky on his final 2 rolls to give Zoey her first individual immunity win in her Main ORG career!
Day 34
Since Zoey was immune, the target swiftly moved onto Maple. Maple had played a good game, was liked by the tribe despite betraying multiple players, and had already won a clutch immunity challenge. However, Maple made an alliance chat called Just a Plan with Amanda, Jack, and Zoey. He pitched that Bliss was overplaying and trying to work everyone after he felt that Bliss had used him and Arlie to get her way at Double Tribal and at Final 8 to take out Pho.
Jack agreed with Maple that Bliss had been overplaying and was a threat to win if she got to the end. To counter this, Jack created a 3-person alliance with Amanda and Grady called Blissfully Unaware with the sole intent to eliminate Bliss. Zoey still felt close with Bliss after their time on Taquile 2.0, so she didn't feel comfortable voting for Bliss and instead voted for Maple with Bliss. At Tribal Council, Grady held onto the idol that Bliss gave back to him and voted her out with Amanda, Jack, and Maple as they moved on to the Final 5.
