Name & Age: Andrew (15)
Current Residence: Long Island, NY
Personal Claim to Fame: I’m not 100% sure, to be totally honest. Literally, I’m only fifteen and I haven’t had anything majorly triumphant or traumatic happen to me. There are a few things that might come close to being a semi-legitimate claim to fame, like being a two-time age-division county trivia champion, maintaining my 15 year and 8 month streak of singledom (excluding those three days at the end of June 2021), finally writing my first decent song after over a year of trying, having several Instagram DMs with one of my favorite authors (not in a creepy way, just in a “I commented that I had read her first book 16 times on a post and she asked me to DM her and I’ve gotten some writing advice and stuff from her” way), and being way too proud of my (partial) Puerto Rican heritage when I didn’t even know about it for most of my life.
Three Words to Describe You: Enthusiastic, energetic, extra
Hobbies: Singing, dancing, theater, being jealous of others’ style, flopping ORGs, songwriting, fan fiction writing, reading, inventing TV competition-style games, watching Elite and Survivor, intellectual debate, anything Taylor Swift-related, listening to GOOD pop music, and just trying to make it through the day.
Pet Peeves: Bananas, raw tomatoes, chemistry, when people use improper grammar and spelling, “bro country music”, exercising, whenever I get a panic attack, hypocrisy, and obviously anything under the hatred and bigotry umbrella. About the bananas and raw tomatoes things: I just can’t eat them without feeling actively disgusted, I don’t know why.
Survivor Contestant You Are Most Like: One hundred thousand million billion trillion percent Maryanne. I like to think of myself as weird but smart, just like her. I know that I can be super extra at times and I have a personality that could be described as off-putting, but if you see past that, I really have good intentions and I’m a sweet, kind person. If she can make it to final six (at least), then so can I (assuming I don’t flop again).
Why did you come on Survivor?: Well, I used to play a lot of ORGs up through like February, then I gradually stopped as I kept performing worse and I had a series of toxic experiences. But Main ORG is such a huge opportunity, and idk, I just got a good feeling about this one. I’m not off break from ORGs, but this is an exception, and if I’m ever invited back, I’d play those too. And maybe if I don’t get voted out super early, I could actually go back to playing more, cause this would be a proving myself experience. Ew wow why do I place so much value in this haha!?!?
Why do you think you will be Sole Survivor?: I honestly have no fucking clue because I’ve never won any ORGs before and the one time I made it to a ftc, I was an absolute goat. So I guess we’ll have to see!
