Challenges

Immunity Challenge: Lost in Translation

In this challenge, tribes were given some lyrics to popular songs, except they had been translated through a multitude of languages. The tribes had to figure out which songs the lyrics were, and the tribe with the most correct answers would win Immunity.

Story

Day 18

After Andrew & Raven's eliminations, both tribes returned back to camp in very different moods. Pukara 2.0 was relatively in good spirits after coming together on a unanimous vote. The same could not be said for Iñakuyo 2.0. Both Felipe and Zoey felt upset about The Boys' elimination of Raven and for being left out of the vote. The rest of their tribe tried to repair relationships with both of them, but they were both annoyed at all 5 members of the Boys alliance.

As they were talking to each other, the next challenge was announced - Lost in Translation! In this challenge, tribes had to work together as teams to decipher 10 songs translated from English to Spanish to Swahili to Simplified Chinese back to English.

Day 19

As the challenge got underway, Pukara 2.0 worked on it immediately. With their efforts led by Jack, Jayden, and Grady, Pukara 2.0 got all 10 songs correct in 9 minutes and 41 seconds. As they were working on the challenge, multiple Pukara players got on VC to discuss the songs. As they were VCing, Gameend noticed that Jayden was talking highly of both Bliss & Grady. She took this as if Jayden was raising the threat levels of both players to make them easier targets for the future. Iñakuyo 2.0 decided to work on their challenge the next day. After finding a good time for the majority of the tribe, the returnees got to work. With Taylor leading the challenge, the returnees worked very quickly thanks to Aaron, Dior, and Maple providing answers. On song number 4, a Bon Jovi classic, Dior gave the correct answer of "You give Love a Bad Name" but Taylor, looking at the first lyrics of the song, and going online to confirm, saw a separate Bon Jovi song with the title "Shot Through The Heart" and put that answer down instead of the correct one.

When the challenge results were revealed, Maple became upset at Taylor for costing their tribe the challenge especially when they had the right answer and were two minutes faster than Pukara.

Pukara celebrated by taking the rest of the day off without anything major happening on their tribe. Iñakuyo on the other hand started plotting against each other. Maple, still upset at Taylor, hatched a plan to take him out using his closest ally, Arlie and the two players who were in the minority last Tribal - Felipe & Zoey.

Zoey, who had been talking with every member on her tribe was included into a trio alliance with Aaron and Dior.

In order to make the vote unanimous and keep the entire tribe informed, Maple went to both Aaron and Dior with the plan to vote out Taylor. Both Aaron & Dior went to Taylor with this information and the basketball trio planned to flip the vote back onto Maple. Later in the day, both Aaron & Dior got on a VC with Zoey confirming that all 3 of them plus Felipe would vote out Maple. Zoey went along while secretly voting against Taylor the entire time. At the vote reveal, Taylor was eliminated 4-3 with the Basketball Trio’s minority votes going to Maple. During the vote reveal, Arlie asked the hosts if he could lay down his torch so that Tribal would be cancelled and that Maple could survive. This was ignored by the hosts but noticed by Arlie’s tribemates. As Taylor became the 9th member of the Fallen, he gave his coin to Aaron and chose the Cheater’s Curse Advantage, a single-use Vote Blocker as his gift to Aaron.
