The Distance Education program Regent University has provided an online option to degree programs since 1997, when a Master’s of Arts degree path was introduced through (what later became) the School of Business and Leadership. This pilot opened the door to a robust online degree network that now includes dozens of undergraduate, graduate and certificate programs. Currently, online education is administered under the College of Arts and Sciences for undergraduate degrees and through each of seven graduate schools for higher degrees. Undergraduate fields of study include arts & communication, business, theology, education, healthcare, law and technology. Graduate programs include communications and journalism, nursing and technology. Full support and assistance is available virtually, mentor groups, tutoring and career services. The virtual experience is complete as all elements are integrated and coordinated.
