Virtual College – Miami Dade College’s online division – has been offering award-winning online credit courses since 1999. Utilizing the Blackboard Learn LMS (learning management system), Virtual College offers courses using the latest interactive technology. Available online degrees include bachelor degrees; Associate of Science degrees; and an Associate of Arts Pathway which guarantees graduates the opportunity to enroll in Florida’s State Universities. Areas of study include (but are not limited to) Nursing, Business (including Marketing, Business Administration, and Finance), Criminal Justice, Management, and more. Virtual College also offers a number of short-term College Credit Certificates in several business-related areas and in Homeland Security are also offered, allowing employment-focused students to build their skill sets in mere months.
