Monroe Community College offers online education programs and classes to accommodate the changing needs of the student learner population. Using MCC virtual campus, students can interact with peers and instructors to fully engage in the learning process. MCC is also a provider of online coursework within the State University of New York (SUNY) system. Online two-year programs available include business, criminal justice, dental assisting and education. MCC offers career programs structured for graduates to enter a specific technical or paraprofessional career field. Degrees that are designed for transfer to a four-year institution satisfy the first two years’ requirements; called a 2+2 program, MCC has agreements with many colleges and universities for smooth transfer. MCC sponsors a first year experience designed to help students navigate through their college career.
