Classes at the University of Northwestern Ohio are typically limited to only 25 students in order to ensure a personalized educational experience. Courses can be taken at your own pace with associate’s being finished in only 18 months and bachelor’s often being completed in three and a half years. There is a growing list of University members who provide excellent networking contacts both before and after graduation. A few of these include the American Society for Travel Agents, the Industrial Planning Council, and the National Association of Colleges and Employers.

Education

UNOH offers both on-campus and online business programs at the associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s levels. Undergraduates can complete an associate’s of Accounting, Business Administration, or Marketing. Individuals working towards their bachelor’s degree have opportunities in Accounting with specializations in CPA or Forensics. They can also choose Business Administration with majors in Agribusiness Management or Marketing. The general Business Administration degree mission statement is, “In a personalized setting, using multiple delivery methods, we prepare diverse students to acquire business skills, knowledge, and abilities for successful application in a global marketplace.” This attention to detail and commitment to prepare students at every level makes the College of Business’ programs stand out. Accounting students have the ability to participate in a five year CPA track. Graduates of this degree will be prepared to sit for the CPA exam. They will have completed rigorous coursework in subjects like Legal Issues in Consumer Sales Transactions, Corporate Finance, Physics, and Quantitative Methods.

Student Life

Racers Station is the hub for many on-campus activities at UNOH. It is a facility designed for students to both work and play. There are pool tables, video games, seating areas, a study corner, free wifi, outdoor dining spaces, and more. An indoor athletic complex and gymnasium are also available to help students keep fit and active. Clubs and organizations also play a role in the on-campus student experience. Business-related clubs include the American Marketing Association and Business Professionals of America. Other unique offerings include automotive and racing clubs, as well as Adventure Club. Adventure Club allows students to socially network while doing outdoor activities and seeks to connect participants with their greater community.

Online Programs

The distance Master’s of Business Administration degree at the University of Northwestern Ohio is delivered 100% online. It can be completed in as little as 18 months on a full-time basis, has no GMAT entrance requirement, and is offered at a low cost. Courses cover hot topics such as legal and ethical environment for business, global business issues and strategies, human resources management, and executive leadership. Undergraduate students can also work towards their associates and bachelor’s degrees in majors like Accounting, Agribusiness/Management Technology, Healthcare Administration, or Marketing.
