While many of the business programs hold accreditation, the University of Phoenix itself also carries regional accreditation with the Higher Learning Commission. Instructors for the University have specialized training for teaching in on-campus and distance learning formats, and the majority have an average of 20 years of experience within their field of study. Tuition prices are locked in from the start of any program, giving students ultimate flexibility and financial confidence as they complete their degrees.

Education

There are nine ACSB accredited business programs offered through the School of Business at the University of Phoenix. A few of these include Associate of Arts in Accounting Fundamentals, Bachelor’s of Science in Business, Master’s of Business Administration, and Doctor of Management. This accreditation is a symbol of the University’s commitment to quality business education at all levels and program formats. The Bachelor’s of Science Business can be completed online or on-campus. The program is typically completed in four years and provides a solid business foundation that covers many subject areas like finance, marketing, legal considerations, management strategies, and more. Students also have the ability to focus their learning with specializations such as Business Analytics, Financial Analysis, Project Management, Small Business & Entrepreneurship, or Operations Management.

Student Life

There are resources available for both online and on-campus business students. Online degree seekers are welcome at campus locations and can attend any of the many events designed to help connect current UOPX students with one another, as well as over one million alumni. One on one tutoring, up to date computer labs, and both on-campus and online social communities all provide tools to assure success. Paying for college responsibly is a priority for the University of Phoenix. The University’s finance team is there to help every step of the way, from finding scholarships and grants to obtaining student loans. Budgeting tips, ideas for reducing costs, and time management plans can all be a part of the educational experience as well.

Online Programs

The University of Phoenix has many distance learning options at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Several of the programs are accredited by the ACBSP, and all of the online degrees can be completed on a convenient and flexible timeline. New students have an opportunity to earn an Associate of Arts with a concentration in Business Fundamentals. This degree is an excellent foundation for the Bachelor’s of Science in business-related fields that are offered as well. Several of the major’s for the undergraduate programs include Marketing, Project Management, Financial Planning, and Human Resource Management. At the graduate level, there are three options for master’s degrees-MBA, Master’s of Health Administration, or Master’s of Management. The MBA has specializations in Accounting, Human Resource Management, Marketing, and Project Management. Doctoral degrees can also be earned online in business administration or management in organizational leadership.
