Survivor: Polynesia is the 11th installment of the ORG Wiki! Located in Polynesia, it is also known as Survivor: Abduction Island. 39 days, 18 people, 1 SURVIVOR!

Polynesia is known for it's twists; Abduction Island and a Tribal Switch, which led to almost the whole pre-merge cast being pagonged. However, some interesting idol plays, abductions, and immunity wins led to some heroic underdogs, villainous strategists, and shocking blindsides post-merge.

Twists

• Abduction Island: After every tribal council, the person with the second most votes will be sent to Abduction Island. While at Abduction Island, the other tribe will have an opportunity to abduct that person into their tribe. If abducted, that person will join the opposing tribe as a full member of the new tribe. A tribe has only 2 opportunities to do so, so they must pick wisely. 
• Tribe Switch: At some point, the tribes will be switched.
• Double Elimination: At some point, both tribes will go to tribal council, both voting out a member from their tribes.
• Hidden Immunity Idols: Idols will be used in this game to make it more interesting.

All underlined votes denote that they were not able to participate at Tribal Council, incurring themselves a "self-vote."

Trivia

• This season has the largest amount of Americans competing with 12, tied with Survivor: Korea and Survivor: Cape Verde.
• Other than Bob, every player to be abducted has been voted out at the Tribal Council immediately following their abduction.
• Bob is the only contestant in Polynesia to be on 2 non-consecutive iterations of the same tribe.
• This season holds the record for the most pre-Merge tribe iterations at 5. This is due largely to the Abduction Island twist.
• This season is the first season since Korea to have the first eliminated Merged tribe member be a member of the Jury.
  • This is also the first season since Survivor: Hawaii to start the Jury once the tribes have Merged.
• All of the flags the castaways' countries represent have the all the colors red, blue and white.
• This is the first season where all finalists are from the same country.
• Adam made it through the entire season without incurring one vote (minus the votes that were negated by his idol).
• At the time of the merge, Phil, Bob, and Val were the only ones to have not remained on their beginning tribe.
• This is the first season where there are no known contestants on the Autism Spectrum.
• This is the second season to have a tie for runner-up, the first being Survivor: Egypt. Survivor: Sardinia and Survivor: Similan Islands would follow.
  • Of the three tied pairs, this is the only time where both runners-up were not on the same starting tribe.
