Twists

• Power Shift: Throughout the game, Power Shift Challenges will occur. These challenges are played individually, and the winner of a Power Shift challenge will have to make a choice that will change the course of the game.
  • Decision #1 ('Shall we end the chaos after this round, or keep it for one more?'): The player is given the choice whether to let Anarchy end at the next Tribal council or let Anarchy go for one more round until the Final 15.
  • Decision #2 ('Will the jury start now, or will it start later?'): The player is given the choice to let the jury start on the Final 13 or later.
  • Decision #3 ('Would you rather have your fate tied to another player, or would you rather the tribe become divided into two?'): The player is given the choice between unleashing the Tied Destinies twist, or having the merged tribe divided into two groups for one round.
    • Tied Destinies: The final ten survivors were randomly divided into pairs. For the rest of the episode, the castaways' fate were linked to their partner: the challenges were competed in pairs and once a player was voted out, their partner was also eliminated with them.
  • Decision #4 ('Would you rather add more secrets to the game, or leave it as is?'): The player is given a choice between unleashing an Eclipse vote for the round, or keeping the status quo.
    • Eclipse Vote: Instead of immunity results being revealed, Tribal Council began immediately following the end of the challenge. The player who won immunity would be revealed after the voting deadline, with any votes cast against them being negated.
  • Decision #5 ('Is more the merrier, or is lesser better?'): The player is given a choice between ending the season in a final two final tribal council or a final three final tribal council.

^1 During the tribe swap, Alex did not receive a buff. Due to this, he was exiled until the next Tribal Council, where he'd replaced the eliminated member of the losing tribe.
^2 Riley received the Power Shift to determine when the jury phase would start. Because she chose to start the jury at F13, her vote was blocked at the next tribal council she attended.
^3 James was eliminated due to the Tied Destinies twist, which if the person you're paired up is voted out, so are you.
